If your man is like my man, he doesn’t want to spend any time deciding what to wear. He’s a grab and go kind of guy. That being said, he also wants to look good and be stylish.
When I bought him an Effort’s bamboo V-neck t-shirt, I knew I had found a winner. I spent a little more than I usually would on a t-shirt for him, but after a few wears it became apparent that it was money well spent.
This first thing he commented on was how soft and comfortable the bamboo material was. He found it to be moisture-wicking and breathable. He always wore clothing that was way too big for him, especially big boxy t-shirts. The first time he put this shirt on he instantly felt slimmer. The cut of the shirt (called urban fit) with a V-neck was much more flattering than his traditional over-sized choice.
I noticed when I washed it that it held its shape very nicely unlike his other cheap ones. I was pleased to know that it was money well spent. So of course, I bought one in another colour for him. I knew I wouldn’t have to keep replacing them! And after many washes, they still look great. The colour is still as vibrant as the day I purchased them.
Because of the properties of bamboo material, the shirts are anti-bacterial and odor-resistant which is great for him in the heat. He stays nice and cool without being smelly!
I am really trying to be more environmentally conscious so finding these shirts was ideal. I have read a lot about fast fashion and how our throw away culture is filling our landfills with cheap clothing that doesn’t decompose. If I do ever need to dispose of these shirts, at least I know bamboo material is biodegradable and I am making the greener choice all while having my husband look fabulous!
